Green Leaf Epicurean Gardens is committed to providing our customers with the freshest, locally grown and harvested produce. Our food is not only fresher and tastes better, but by buying locally you are supporting the local economy and reducing the amount of energy used in transportation.
We are a small artisan farm located just north-east of Traverse City, in Williamsburg, MI. Summer 2012 was our first year with a wide variety of heirloom vegetables, selling at the Elk Rapids and Traverse City Farm Markets. This year we are expanding our operations to include fresh eggs, a wider variety of vegetables and herbs, bake goods, and home preserves.
Our Farm: We are a family owned farm using the latest in 'high tunnel' farming to extend the growing season and selling at local farm markets. The high tunnel system allows us to start our seeds earlier, extend our season, and grow fruits and vegetables that are not typical for Northern Michigan (ex. sweet potatoes).
Please feel free to stop by our farm - feed the chickens and visit with Pepper, our Potbelly pig.
Our Market: For the summer of 2013, we will be at the Charlevoix, Elk Rapids, and Traverse City Farm Markets. We will offer a limited number of shares for our CSA; check out how to become a member . You don't have to be a member of our CSA to visit our farm, just call ahead so we can be sure to be available.
We invite you to visit us and discover a new way to buy produce.
